Like Batum, but hate we're giving up on Vonleh so quickly. Guess this solidifies the suspicion that they're going after Kaminsky in the draft.
Also, Lamb at the 2 and Kemba running point is an interesting pairing. Might work out really well.
He'll be battling with PJ for back-up minutes. I think it's a low risk move. They were never going to keep Barnes.
Only having to give up Barnes for him is a good move.
I think Batum will be a very good player here, he played hurt much of last season, and it showed on the court. When healthy, I think he's one of the more versatile guys in the league.
Would have been okay with the pick if Winslow wasn't there. Skipping over him stings atm. Hope Kaminsky can become a star, because that's what the Hornets desperately need.
Why not make that trade with the Celtics, then take Bobby Portis, who projects better long term than Kaminsky? It just doesn't make sense.
After hearing about what the Celtics offered for the pick, I'm a little pissed off that we didn't take it. Four first round selections and we liked Kaminsky more than that? Dude better turn out to be a top 10 player in the league to turn down something like that...
Boston Celtics offered six picks for Charlotte Hornets' No. 9 pick, sources say
