Regardless of his coaching results here, really hope the DUI stuff isn't true. Butch has always seemingly been a decent guy, would hate to find that out about him, and if that is true hopefully it's just a one off gigantic stupid decision and not a sign that he's dealing with anything like alcoholism.

Several of the media guys who regularly attend the pressers didn’t deny but also didn’t nor acknowledge when asked about this recently called presser. Either they haven’t gotten official word and time or were told to keep quiet for now

Don't have the slightest clue, but either way Butch's buyout isn't an issue in firing him or not. We're one of the richest programs in the country, we can afford to fire whoever we want.

Which would debunk his claim that no reporter that's usually at press conferences has denied the press conference.

Why would Rucker know/be told? Because he covers the Vols for one of the biggest sports publications in the country, maybe?
