Yep that's right. He injured it Friday against the Hawks in the 4th quarter & even played in 2 OT's with it. They thought it was a hyperextended knee. Showed up for shoot around today & it was hurting him so they took him for a MRI & found the torn ACL.

Jared Sullinger is out for the remainder of the season, he needs back surgery. Looks like those red flags everyone had before the draft are showing up.


C's have won3 in a row w/out Rondo. Pierce has stepped up big.

I'm not sure why the Celts would do that. They have two guards in Rondo and Bradley for their future. They need young forwards, particularly young scoring options. Then if they trade KG, they need a young frontcourt player.

I don't know why the Clippers would do it either? They have 4 quality bigs (Jordan, Griffin, Odom, and tweener Barnes), and all their guards are banged up...factor in that Garnett's contract is huge.

I dont know man, i just saw it on espn last night. Would the Clippers make Crawford a starter if they left? Seems to me that they need Butler more than Garnett right now.

Barnes is a wing. He's never played a day of post in his life. They have three bigs (Turiaf sucks) and Odom is not shooting well.

My point is that Barnes ensures that rebounding is not a need. He plays more perimeter D this year, but last year he got 8.5 rp36. KG is getting 8.7 rp36 minutes.

Celtics are now 5-0 without Rondo & will play the Howard/Gasoless Lakers tonight in the Garden.

Celtics DESTROYED the Lakers last night, idk if it had more to do with the Lakers being in complete meltdown mold or if the Celtics are actually playing this good since the Rondo injury. They are now 6-0 since RR got hurt, the entire team has picked up their game & is playing better. Pierce looks like he's took a time machine back 5-6 years, Jeff Green is starting to play very good basketball. Bradley & Lee have been locking down people on the perimeter.

Celtics were able to beat the Nuggets in 3 OT's last night at the Garden. Pierce had a triple-double, Terry had a GREAT game, KG had a good game also. Game should have never went into 3 OT's though, the C's were in control the entire game & blew a 10+ point lead in the 4th to allow the Nuggets a chance to win it at the end.

Pierce hit a clutch, clutch 3 at the end of the 2nd OT to send it into the 3rd OT.

That makes 7 wins in a row, they play at the Bobcats tonight.

It's crazy what they're doing. They got killed on the boards last night. They are just shooting the lights out. Enjoy it while it lasts.

C's lost one at the end last night to the Bobcats snapping their 7 game winning streak. You have to think the 3OT game the night before left them gassed.

Barbosa looks to have torn his ACL & will be out the rest of the season. The hits just keep coming for this Celtics team. & whats crazy is that it's not the older players getting hurt, it's the young guys.

Celtics traded Leandro Barbosa & Jason Collins to the Wizards for Jordan Crawford.

Also, they signed Terrence Williams from the China league.

Jeff Green had a HUGE night last night against the Suns in his starting role since KG got the night off for rest.

I was going to head over to Charlotte last night to catch the game but yesterday morning they reported Pierce wasn't playing due to rest so I decided to not make the drive. I'm really wanting to see Pierce play in person before he retires or ends up on another team. He's my all-time favorite Celtic.


Anyways, this team is making me pull my hair out. They play to the level of their opponent. They had won 5 in a row & was making a move up the Eastern Conference standings, the defense was in sync, we were efficient on offense, & we were implementing the new guys. We go to OKC on Sunday & play well for 3 quarters then play like crap in the 4th to lose. Then last night we get blown out by the Bobcats, just a pathetic pathetic performance all around.
