The Official Belmont @ #17 Tennessee Game Thread (Tues. May 13 5PM EDT) (SECNET+)

Morgantown regional, Texas would be our super regional opponent for those who didn’t want to click

At the start of the season, all these teams with losses were projected to have such high seeds, and the reason given was that while they had losses, they had a hard strength of schedule and they were "good" losses.

Now, as we lose to Vandy, LSU, etc. - all "good" - losing to good teams doesn't matter, and we drop down the boards.

In the end, it doesn't matter. Got to beat who you play, wherever you play them, But, I have watched it happen this year, and found it interesting.

I think they've given us a lot more grace than we should expect honestly. We were a 9 seed going into Vandy series. The reality is we've lost 5/6 series and are 19-19 since the 20-0 start. It's funny saying this, but if we weren't Tennessee, or some other school that's earned benefit of the doubt, we wouldn't even be ranked right now.

I get your point, but we are 19-13, not 19-19 over the balance of the season.
