I don't know, but I would feel comfortable with Ainge or Clausen starting.I just hope if Ainge starts that he does not get freaked out the first time he sees a lineman coming at him full throttle.

What makes this thread any more official than the last 593 threads on this topic?

I mean, is there an official stamp laying around in this forum?

And if there is; where's mine?

I went with Clausen. He doesn't have the arm Ainge does but his decision making on where to go with the ball is alittle better than Ainge at this point. I think Ainge will come off the bench and play some in the UAB game. I'm not sure about the starter for the UF game right now and I don't really care which one starts that one though because I like both of our qb's. I feel like we can win with either one.

hey it doent matter to me which one starts because they are both good i think clausen did one heck of a job last year by coming off the bench as third string qb

It better be Ainge......
Ainge is capable of the spectacular, Clausen you just hope runs the offense and doesn't make mistakes.
Ainge won Florida, @Georgia, Bama, @Ole Miss, @South Carolina
Clausen beat Kentucky, Vandy, Texas A&M.
Also Ainge is capable of winning a game on a day that he doesn't play his best because he is clutch. He has beaten the teams that it takes to win championships.
Do people forget that Clausen got to play because Ainge got hurt? Ainge is the starter.

doesn't matter. thats in the past. all that matters now are the practices and scrimmages and look like clausen has the upper hand in both.

Yeah, I would really put all my stock into scrimmages.......winning big games and being clutch on the road is nothing.

The first game of the season,UAB, offers an extremely small window for grading of the best QB to lead this team for the season. As we all know that game is followed by road trips to Gainsville and Baton Rouge. I feel confident, :cross: , the coaching staff will use that opportunity to decide who that person is by playing both of our great QB's in the Blazer game and coming up with the best solution!!!
