Jesus, everybody needs to calm down. We played a s*** half. I have confidence the second half will be much better. I just don't get the sky is falling mentality I see around here with the slightest bit of adversity our team faces. Champions overcome adversity, let's wait and see.
This can be a big time learning experience if they can come back and win, which I expect.
However, there is no way to downplay how a team that is supposedly so excited about what it can do this season coming out and being physically stalemated at best.
They are not blocking. They are not breaking tackles or making people miss. They are squandering a talent advantage at every position. There is nothing the opponent can do from an X's and O's standpoint to overcome the difference in talent.
Shocking.
Tennessee snapped the ball and ran another play. I'm pretty sure once the ball is snapped, the results of the previous play don't matter. They shouldn't be able to instigate or run a review once that ball is snapped - and the ref gave them time to line up beforehand, and moved off the line to let the play begin. They had no business letting them go back and reverse that call (and then negating the following run).
