You do understand that there is something called "being competitive" correct? Going 10-2 and losing extremely poorly to the only two good teams on your schedule says a lot about the state of the program under Butch Jones. Yeah, we pulled off a miraculous near-comeback against A&M, but yet we suffered from the same slow start/unpreparedness that we've exhibited in every game. It's been the same story every game this year, just with differing levels of competition in our opponents.
Miracle wins or not, this won't sit well, and shouldn't, with the powers that be. This REMAINS the rivalry that matters and well it should.
The University needs to move to make it relevant again. Until today's game, we thought it was. As a proud Tennessean, I would sure like to see the streak stopped.
How could you possibly know this? Why do you guys preach hell fire and brimstone?
No offense but have you watched this game? We have injuries for sure but this team has not been handled well on offense all season long, we just had better talent to make up for/come from behind.
Or defensive issues have been due to injuries, but our offense has been playcalling compounded by injuries. We have serious issues on offense.
