I don’t think it is his physical talents is the problem. It is in his head and sometimes that is the most difficult thing to change..

Hoover has spent a lot of money over the years on infrastructure to make the event as guest friendly as possible.

I don’t think we see Curley struggle this year if Kilen hadn’t gone out with the injury and the infield got shuffled.

Confidence can disappear overnight, especially under a spotlight. The guy hasn’t forgotten how to play shortstop, but when the game speeds up in your head, everything else follows. That’s why a coach sticking with him matters. Sometimes the only way out of your own head is knowing the people around you still believe in you.

His teammates today picked him up. That’s the biggest confidence boost he could be given. Regardless of his playing time in postseason, kid will be drafted and his life will change forever.
