We played ok on offense today. I thought they would score 80-85. We just cannot score that much - too limited depth wise and shooting wise.

Difference in the game was mostly how badly they out rebounded us: 42-30 is really dominant on the glass. 18-10 offensive rebounds.

Yeah I think things may have been different today if he could stay on the floor and keep his composure. He's obviously not a trash player, but it hurts when he gives trash.

FL just the better team today. They blew thru all their games in the tourney. They are peaking at the right time and will be a factor in the NCAA. Could be a final 4 team. Our guys played well and now we move on the NCAA, the tourney that really matters.

And Florida scored 100. It took UK playing their best game of the season on offense by far and it was still close. Florida would destroy Kentucky if they played again.

Although there were a few suspect calls, I’m not going to blame the refs for this one. Florida just too deep across the board and offensive rebounds just killed any chance we had. Despite the adversity, we came back and cut it to 5 twice but couldn’t get it closer. If we had, Florida might have gotten more nervous and who knows. But Clayton sealed it with those two 3’s.

Agreed. I just think the refs were too whistle happy. Let them play. The ticky tack calls are annoying.

The championship game and the SEC showcases the worst set of officials in the league. What a disgrace. There was no flow to the game because of them. Every 30 seconds a foul. They effectively removed Igor from the game in the first few minutes.

Rebounds killed us most but the depth problem helped Flordia out there. Fresher bodies have more energy it takes to beat an aggressive rebounding team

Bigs let us down just 13 points & 7 rebounds between Felix, Igor & Cade.

Strong effort from ZZ & Gainey though.

Top 2 seed, go rest up & win 4 straight. We won’t see Gators again unless in Final Four probably.

ZZ doesn’t like losing period. He’s a dog and I love him. Florida players know where he stands in the battle of competition. The beat down they put on Bama foreshadowed what the Gators are capable of. To beat them you gotta win the paint and the boards. Their guards will get theirs just too good

Yep, these guys were right back in it, that garbage call in Mashack is when you knew it was over, right when we got momentum and bringing pressure. Florida was the better team, no doubt, but calls like that take the air out of A run.

I already said they would be the favorite. Just saying maybe KY gets red hot again if they run into them.
Flordia is really good, probably the team to beat this year.
They are not necessarily invincible like some teams in past NCAAT's were.
That was/is my main point.
