Yup. It’s gotten pretty clear lately our Achilles heel is the same as last year.

Of our 9 losses last year, these players accounted for 6 of them:

Edey
Tolu Smith
Dickinson
Bacot

We struggle to defend the post. The Ole Miss and Texas game showed this again as we let pretty pedestrian players put up big numbers on us down low. Carey at Vandy is another that comes to mind

Yeah, I don’t think he can body Broome. Few can. It’s not a knock.

Need any combination of 4 guys in double figures in points scored, ZZ and one other person with at least 5 assists, Felix and Igor or Igor and Phillips need to prevail in the rebound talley, Auburn will do what Auburn does, the question is will Tennessee play at the high level, which they have done from time to time this season, but manage to futz around and mail it in as well, i.e. at Vandy, at Ole Miss and Kentucky twice this season.

Rebounding will be a big key for the Vols, they gotta hold their own against the AU. In addition, we gotta shoot the ball well to have a chance, I know that sounds simple, but to pull off the upset, some shots need to go down from some unexpected players. (Igor, Gainey, darlinstone, Phillips). Chaz will be mugged by the AU defense, Pearl will not let him go off in the game especially early. This is gonna take a monster effort by our team to beat them on a neutral floor. Don’t play the thought we almost beat them at their place, that’s been well over a month ago. I’m hoping for the upset but I just dont think the whistle will go the way we need it, plus Broome will get away with push offs the whole game. Hope we can make Bruce blow a gasket on the sideline and he picks up a T and we get momentum from it. Anyway, go Vols!

If Lanier sets a personal record it will signal a failure of Auburn’s defense regardless of the other scorers. As usual, though, we need him to score and Zeigler to take over late. That’s been our winning formula in the second half.

A lot of what I've seen says the winner of FL-ALA will be the final #1 seed, especially if it's FL. I've also seen that the bracket is pretty much decided even before the SEC champ game is even played tomorrow.

I think Cade and Okpara can do as well as anyone at defending Broome. That will be a huge matchup. This game will probably come down to which team is hitting shots. I just hope we're hot...and I wouldn't mind Faker-Mazara getting throat punched.

Lunadri literally just trolls the Tennessee base. He knows as soon as he says some garbage like that it will be all over social media = clicks for him.

Don’t feed the troll.

He literally said two days ago that those three teams are battling for a one seed, whoever goes the furthest. Nothing has changed in the teams, and yet now he says that trash.

Lunardi said the same thing this morning - that he feels the winner of the Florida-Bama game will get the #1 seed in the West.
