That’s a dumb question.Yep. Today I was among a bunch of Tennessee haters, mostly from Alabama. Teen boy beside me, when he learned we were from Nashville asking "Why aren't you vandie fans? I replied, "I'd cheer for Communist China first.,"
I was about 5 rows above yall. That bunch was annoying as hell. I was waiting for the Vol in a tank top to come across the aisle.Yep. You have to excuse the Tide fan. Like so many, they are illiterate and have no knowledge of American history.Don’t know you if heard the one 2-3 rows behind you who kept saying, “what the f&@k is a Vol”? I saw him in the concourse during the Vandy game and asked “do you know what the f&@k a Vol is mow@? He smiled and said yes sir.
My friend and I got approached by a girl with a camera and guy with a microphone outside the stadium yesterday. They asked us "Who is the real UT and why?" My answer: "Without Tennessee Volunteers, there would be no Texas." The guy with the microphone looked thoroughly confused; I'm thinking he may also have no knowledge of American history. You have to excuse the Tide fan. I lived in Texas for 6+ years and loved to tell boastful Texans: "If it weren't for us Tennesseans, all you Texans would be speaking Spanish!"
This makes no sense. If they were upset about bad plays, errors, etc then why would they be unhappy we won? Seems like they really wanted UT to win. This is a completely illogical take.Just read through this thread... every page. So many negas calling game and other defeatist comments. They're all probably not happy we won.
During Wednesday's game against Bama, there was a Bammer behind me with his wife and two kids. He was mostly quiet until they came back. He then got very into the game and dropped several F bombs. Now don't get me wrong - I can cuss with the best of them. But, the SEC baseball tournament is probably not the time or place given the amount of youngsters around.I was about 5 rows above yall. That bunch was annoying as hell. I was waiting for the Vol in a tank top to come across the aisle.

I mean it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to know you should probably provide the SEC Channel for guests traveling to the home of the SEC and SEC Baseball Tournament. The GM of a large hotel chain told me they got it 3 weeks ago as it was a “contractual requirement“. They still don’t have it. #BamaIncompetenceSame here. It's like being in Knoxville on Game Day & seeing everything decked out in Crimson!![]()

Totally giving a game away, had the batter in a two strike hole, runner not going to steal with nobody out, air mail a throw that never should have been made, the two strike batter plunks it into left field to tie the game up, nobody else plays this inconsistently, mistakes at this level are unacceptable, playing to win or just going through the motions?
5 straight wins and a SEC tourney title would speak pretty loud though.
You're correct. 4 straight wins. You make good points but I also can't remember a time when a team not projected to host won the SEC tourney. Most other conference tourneys, I would agree with you, but 4 straight SEC wins against ranked teams will be hard to ignore.I think it would just be 4 straight wins, right? I don’t necessarily disagree with you, especially when you stack resumes and ours currently compares pretty well with LSU who is a projected Top-5 seed. But I can’t remember the last time a team not even projected to host vaulted all the way to a national seed just based off conference tourney performance. Feels like it would be a large leap we’d have to make.
