The Official #8 Seed Tennessee @ #1 Seed Texas SEC Tourney Quarterfinal Game Thread (Thurs. May 22 4PM EDT) (SEC NETWORK)

It's exactly why expecting this team to emerge from a regional, much less a super regional isn't reasonable. They can beat anyone on any given day, but somewhere along the line, the ability to string together strong performances left the ballpark and never returned. That isn't a recipe for success in the postseason.
depends on the region. 247 had an article earlier that said they're sending us to FSU. If we go there, we aren't making it out. But I do think there are some regions we'd be favorites in

Two words not in this team’s vocabulary are momentum and consistency. The “good” Tennessee almost never shows up 2 days in a row.

One of the best speeches ever.

Being the favorite doesn't matter, unfortunately. We were favored today...we are being no-hit thru 4 by a guy most have never heard of and our ace has looked like trash in two straight. This team is mentally weak and finds ways to lose games they otherwise shouldn't. Winning a regional requires stringing wins together and this team struggles to do that, no matter the opponent or location.
