The Official #6 Tennessee @ #7 LSU Series Thread (Fri. April 25 7:30PM EDT SECNET+) (Sat. April 26 8PM EDT ESPNU) (Sun. April 27 3PM EDT SEC NETWORK)

I think CTV will have to get a couple of big bats and a solid Friday Night starting pitcher every year going forward from the Portal.

By looking at Roster you posted, I believe the Freshmen returning will be better. I think Clark hit a wall hopefully he hangs around as makes major strides next season. Abernathy will be better, Antigua will be back and Marin has had a solid Freshmen season.

On the pitching front I think Kuhns has hit a wall like Clark has and will improve and be solidly in weekend rotation next season. The big thing is if the UNC- Asheville guy makes it on Campus or if he gets drafted high enough to he may go pro.
I think the UNC-Asheville kid is leveraging us to help his signing bonus and profile in the draft. I doubt he ever steps foot on campus. If not, why didn't he wait to announce it until after UNCA’s season ended. He’s now even higher on Scout’s list for evaluation.

Sunday games are decided by which teams back end pitching shows up. LSU did, Tennessee’s didn’t. TV saw what I saw based on his post game comments. Some guys weren’t confident enough to pitch in that situation. Only scoring 2 runs was also pitiful. Gotta step up these last 3 weekends.
LSU had 2 legit SEC starters to throw at us Sunday. Was a major advantage for them.

Sorry to ask so late. Can Tigers fans just walk up to the gate and get a ticket or is it sold out in advance?
This is going to sound crazy, but I don’t actually know anymore! Anytime I want tickets to any event, I just make a phone call to family members who are still strongly affiliated with the university. I haven’t had to deal with actually trying to get tickets for any sporting event in a long time now.

If I had to guess though, I’d say they’re sold in advance, bc LSU sells out every baseball game.

There were a lot of tickets in Ticketmaster app for anywhere from 30$ and up. Reasonable prices. Obviously the prime seats were more. But definitely some right and left field seats for under 50.

The LSU starter Sunday is actually their closer. It was his first start of the season. The relief guy was their set up guy. Those guys stepped up & pitched great. None of our guys did that much. That was the ballgame.
