Anyone know which sections our allotment of seats are in? Looking to see what's available on the secondary market. I know we were in 29 & 30 on Thursday, but we may be on the other bench tonight, which would put our fans in 32 & 33.

The only prior matchup came on 1/30/77, when #8 UCLA defeated #7 Tennessee, 103-89, in Atlanta. Remember it well. Ucla shot like 60% in the first half.. Huge game buildup and Tenn got smoked. Excruciating.
I was in high school and went to the game with a friend and his parents, the Omni in its day was cool. We played soft zone the entire game and got eaten alive. Plus everyone pretty much fouled out.

UCLA was loaded, I remember they had Marques Johnson, David Greenwood, Jimmy Spillane and Keith (Jamal) Wilkes ( I think). David Myers was also a post player on that team ( I think). I do remember they had a skinny freshman named Kiki Vandeweghe that got some playing time late. Only reason I remember him is because their cheerleaders were chanting “All the way with Vandeweghe” when he got in the game. It struck me as odd.

We had won maybe 14 in a row after that early season loss to Duke ( that had Giminski and Spanarkle).

Igor needs to really step up tonight. He's been off for about a month....
If he doesn’t step up then maybe go more with Cade. That means Okpara may need to give us more min.

Igor does a decent job on the boards but he he looks awkward out there. Idk if he’s hit a wall physically or level of completion is getting to him. He’s a step slower on D, commit daily fouls and turns it over too often.

Barnes got on him past few games for setting poor screens. He did have a couple good three balls last game and a basket @ the rim. But we need more, including from the foul line.

Was there at the Omni sitting about 2 rows from the top. Still as an 13 year old might as well been sitting court side. Didn’t like the outcome but first UT basketball game I ever went to.

3-7 against the Big Ten in the Tourney over the last 20 years.

1-6 in regulation

The Purdue Losses, the blown OSU lead, MSUs nailbiter, Michigan upsetting us.

Big Ten has found ways to inflict unimaginable pain in March

Time to exercise those demons

To nobody’s surprise here, I have a real bad feeling about this one. Think we had bad luck of the draw with a UCLA team that’s way under seeded and is a bad matchup based on their size. Meanwhile, Purdue is shellacking McNeese.

Vandeweghe had a long NBA career. Solid player.

Not to look ahead because I am very bearish on this game, BUT I think it's ridiculous that Purdue, the regional 4 seed, gets to play potential S16/E8 games in Indianapolis.

I also think it's bs the games will be played in the Colts football stadium rather than Pacers basketball arena.

He's starting to get beat on defense more, too.
He's got to remember if he gets beat, he gets beat, tho. Don't make it worse by picking up a dumb foul and letting them get a 2-3 foot 3 pointer/bonus shot.
If he is going to foul make sure they don't get the two and have to earn the points at the line.

Go Vols

I’m hopeful that the Vols can play better than a Bruins team that can realistic keep it close.
More rebounds, less turnovers, minimize the easy baskets for the Bruins, and Vols offense be fruitful in the first half so they don’t need a challenging second half comeback, and succeed making critical baskets during the adversity of a competitive game.

I think you want us to excise those 😈 maybe after we exercise them.

Nothing easy in the NCAA Tourney. UT gonna have to turn up the intensity and get off to a quick start led defensively by ZZ and Schack, and I trust those two to set the standard tonight. The rest of the team will follow to a relatively close but cover the spread win. Don’t bet it though, I’m happy with any win at this point.

I'm not sure UCLA applies here considering they are a recent West Coast addition. Still though, they are Big 10 now so the record will reflect that fact
