Unpopular opinion (maybe): Barnes and his staff got the absolute most out of the squad this year.

Lanier ended up being a little too streaky for our #1 option and Estrella getting hurt really hurt us down low. Igor really fell off the last month or so of the season

Elite 8 with this group is something that should be celebrated, IMO.

Tennessee accomplished their goal get back to the elite 8 . There is a reason we have been to ZERO final fours.

Houston beat us worse than Duke would’ve, also there’s no bright side to this. It wasn’t a good game and it was possibly the worst performance any team has ever had in the Elite Eight.

Same story all year for this team. One game they look great and the next they look like they've never played together before. Such a disappointing end to the season. Barnes needs to get some shooters and a TRUE big man on the team.

Good season men, sad ZZ, Shack & Gainey won’t get a FF in their careers.

But SECT Championship, SEC Regular Season Championship, 3 straight Sweet Sixteens & back to back Elite Eights is an impressive career.

Yes they are. We had some great runs here just not the complete team of our opponents. Houston overall is better just a shame we played so poorly in 1st but in the end they are better team. Go Vols. In CHRIST Alone

Basketball season was a great season overall; can't wait to see how the roster fills in for next season. A lot of opportunities for some newcomers... hope some good ones seize it

They’ll be competitive then, choke like they always do in the tournament.

He’s a great guy, a great representative of the university. He just doesn’t coach well in the tournament and that’s proven by a significant amount of data.

White needs to decide does he want to win a championship or just have a distraction between football and baseball?

Time to retool in the portal. Hopefully Barnes can get more size at PG, more scoring ability and more athleticism on the team.

Barnes never has dominant big men. If we run his typical team and add a dominant post player we have something to lean into when we go cold. Get a difference maker in the paint. Surround them with athletes
