Agree. They looked unusually nervous to start. Not sure why other than wanting to do it so badly for Rick.

All these teams sitting at home watching the Vols.
Barnes is the Coach, but he can’t make the shots. He can draw plays, coach the players up, but the players have to make the shots.
Why a player wouldn’t want to play for him is beyond me. He is a fantastic representative for our University, and he is the winningest active coach in America. Sure, he could’ve probably made some decisions that would’ve affected the outcome, but this loss is squarely on the players, particularly the seniors who played poorly. I’m proud of our team and coaches and I look forward to next season. Go Big Orange!!

Yeah we’ll probably take a step back next year. Lethal shooters who actually want to give effort and play defense don’t grow on trees

I get crushed for this take, I think it is because we don’t want to think about it, but the tournament is offensively driven and we have never had the offense to make it to a final four or championship. It is what it is I am proud of what we accomplish in the regular season and that will always be the highlight of these Barnes years. But we did kick Kentucky out of the tournament so there is that cherry on top.

We loss this game because we weren’t mentally ready for the first 15 minutes of game. That’s a much more painful thing to face, I get it. But it’s the reality. It is what it is. The players will be the first to admit it in the press conference. As frustrated as we are, I promise it’s nothing compared to how they feel. It was a special group of guys this year, it’s tough way for them to go out, but this will go down as an all time great team here. Kudos for a great season, and if we keep knocking on that final 4 door, eventually it will open. We’re making progress, before we wouldn’t even get to this point. We have now in back to back seasons.

Disagree....we have been hit or miss scoring all year. We played horrible offense today and they made alot of shots.

If that's true - and it certainly seems like it might be - than it's a liability. The first ten minutes of this game doomed them from ever being competitive.

It’s a disappointing end but it was a hell of a season. One of the best we’ve ever had. Just ran into a better team at the end. It happens.

There’s really no need to cope about whether we’re as good or not as Houston. It’s CBB, not the NBA. You get one crack at them and that’s it. Nobody cares about hypotheticals. Hopefully we can get another crack at the FF next year.
