Yep. And most the experienced guys had a good year at the plate. Kilen, Fisch, Hunter, even Dean. The less experienced guys have had more ups and downs. Funny how that happens.Every body acts like Burke, C-Mo, Dreiling, Tears, Amick, etc., only went up to the plate swinging for the fences, but the reality is that they were insanely good hitters with excellent approaches. Yeah, all of them hit 20+ HRs, but they also hit a bunch of doubles and took a crap ton of walks; the approach by our guys this year was similar at the start of the season... until the competition got better and they started falling behind in games more often.
I’m not sure it’s helping Deans stock by continuing to play but everything I’ve seen it shows Dean being a 3rd basemanAnyone can see the favoritism and worrying about one guy's draft stock is affecting the team chemistry? Thought the point was to try to win games not worry about someone's draft stock.
I’m a bit disappointed in our highly touted freshman class , I don’t think we had a single freshman all sec selection , kinda hard to believe having the number 1 clsssYep.
