It looks to me we are in serious trouble when it comes to pitching across the board next year. I know folks will cite the portal and I don’t discount that but I don’t think the portal will be enough to fill the gaps.

Kuhns will improve enough to be a solid Sunday guy that we can actually rely on. And people forget we have Anson Seibert on the bench who is a huge talent. We need a Friday guy and some bullpen pieces but they will figure it out.

You're right, we don't have pitchers committed in the upcoming recruiting class and the guys we do have won't develop... it's over, we're screwed

We already have two big arms committed from the portal but both are draft eligible so not sure they‘ll make it to campus , Tony certainly isn’t perfect by no means but his talent evaluation and recruiting is elite so I’m not worried about having good players from year to year

Well unlike the football program...Tony and the baseball program actually produce championships.

And to add to that...this conference is a lot more tougher in baseball than in football.

Vastly underrated. He might not have the physical and statistical attributes of a MLB player (in some people’s eyes), but the kid always plays 100% and to the best of his ability. I’d take 8 more like him anytime.

I believe Frank and CTV are the best in the business. In terms of development though, if we were having this same conversation last year - who would you point to as examples? I didn’t watch Doyle admittedly at Ole Miss and I know he credits the UT staff for him being a top 10 pick. Are there others you would point to (genuinely asking, not being sarcastic)?

I’m hoping with what we saw from Arvidson and Russell this tourney that we start to see the development at playoff time where it matters most as that was encouraging
