Yeah. AA has made some on balls GK or DC would never even get close to. He has also made a couple of routine ones. But I don’t recall any resulting in multiple runs or costing games.

Yep. I remember being yelled at in little league to not look back for the ball once you've made the decision to go or were sent, you look ahead at where you're going to cut down on anything that might distract you. He was looking almost halfway down the line. Maybe he still gets thrown out but if he's focused full steam ahead and a better slide he's probably safe.

It looks like he was going to beat the throw up until he got about halfway down, then he turns to look and you can literally see him lose steam. It was going to be close but I really feel he beats that out if he hadn’t turned to watch the infield.

Regardless, shouldn’t have went. But if he scores, we exhale and be thankful and say “don’t do that again”. Instead, it kills the inning.

We win 12-9. Sounds like a Memorial Day Weekend kinda game to me.
