the offense has 8 strikeouts in 11 tries today.

It’s one game. We scored 22 runs the past two days. The offense is going to be fine. Anyone worried about the offense is concerned about the wrong things. This defense is going to end our season. We gave up 4 unearned runs to Alabama in one inning, 2 more unearned runs this inning, an unearned run to Texas in extra innings, the list goes on.

Heflin and Rucker were just saying it yesterday on GoVols 24/7. They plead their cases and threw out the numbers and it absolutely made sense, I hopped on board after that. Love Deano, but he’s way too inconsistent right now defensively. It also doesn’t help when our bats don’t help make up for the errors, so I won’t put it completely on Dean.
