Doesn’t matter to me what other teams think of this tournament. I just hope we’re in it to win it and judging by Tony’s comments every year in Hoover, I think we are. Not sure why any team wouldn’t wanna play more baseball and add more hardware because “they need more rest for the bigger fish”. This is a great tournament at a great venue and means something.

Apparently Connor Fennell is the Vandy starter today. He was arguably their best pitcher in SEC play. Low walk/high SO pitcher with BAA of .178. His only bugaboo is that he gives up some homers at a higher clip. Right-hander, by the way.

Went 3 innings in the Sunday game against Tennessee. Gave up 1 run, a HR by Fischer. Pulled him after 71 pitches.

We can beat Vandy and erase that awful taste in our mouths from losing so many series this spring.
