IWI and Canik (as well as Tisas) are also very good.
I'm not the biggest fan of Ruger pistols, I actually would not recommend one. I hate my LCP Max even after spending it's cost again in an attempt to make it suck less.
Taurus while cheap and decent enough, I wouldn't trust it with my life.
