The Official 2nd Amendment Appreciation Thread

I used a Galco kingtuk air for my G21. It was comfortable (well as much as anything can be with that cannon), supported the weight well, and was easy to take on and off.

For IWB, I prefer something with one clip or loop and a low profile. That way I can take it off and put it on easily with the pistol already in the holster.

I've used a Galco deep concealment leather holster for 20+ years on a regular basis but kydex is really nice.

This place makes some really nice kydex at a reasonable price and they ship really fast. Betweet my wife, daughters and me we probably have half a dozen of them.

They sell on Amazon as well. 35 for black and 40 for carbon fiber.

I have the 26. I def like the idea of the holes if it makes it more breathable. I already sweat like a pig at a weenie roast.

Like I said it was comfortable. It carried the weight well and I didn't have an issue with sweating too much. I my only gripe was with the gun it's self. It was just to dang big to carry like that. I was going to get one for my shield, but after carrying it for the last week with my current holster I don't think it needs something that big.

Alien gear holsters are nice for this memphis humidity. Working outside all day the holsters breath and do not change form like leather does, crossbreed horse hide backing is good as well for humid environments.

So, GW, did it arrive today?

No, but nothing gets here the day it's supposed to. Although I'm only 2 miles off of I-95, I'm in the sticks. Like I said, it gets here when it gets here. Most years, Santa gets here around the 27th...lol.

I really like the IMC Scout mount. I had a fit getting it inside the Colt aluminum heat shields (there are two of them), but once I got it mounted, it seems solid. With the "thumb forward" position on my left hand, it sits just above my thumb at about the 10 o'clock position, and is very easy to access, but doesn't get in the way of my normal grip. I tried it out in my garage after dark, and I don't think barrel shadow is an issue.

I love that Scout light. 500 lumens. And just a simple "on or off" to choose from. Simple is good.

We'll see how your mount works. Thanks for checking on me.

I'm using the desantis inside heat for the Shield.

I have a Tagua IWB for my G30S and compact Rock. Very similar to the DeSantis. The Tagua offers three different mounting (clip and slot) options, but I just go vertical at my 1 o'clock. While there's no way to make a .45 IWB completely comfortable, I wear it all the time, and so I'm used to it. Walking, sitting driving, etc....works.

I have a friend who is looking to sell a few "niche" pieces, so I thought I would offer them to you high-rollers.

Barrett M107 .50
Rem 700 Custom Lapua .338 Mag FDE with Leupold Mark IV optics
Springfield M1A SOCOM 16, black

The Lapua has never been fired, the M1A and 50 are like-new.

I have pics if anyone has serious interest.

I might be interested in the SOCOM. Post the pic.

lol

I don't get the blame this time.

I am having our Legal Division draft up the "Release of All Liability". I'll fax it to you when signed.

Actually, I mentioned the post to a co-worker, and he's the one who is really interested. He's single, so he has more money than he knows what to do with.

Yeah, can't agree.

Here's what I told him (Tim): I get what you're saying. Been there. Had he turned in his badge and gun that day, or the next day at the latest...maybe I can find some sympathy. But as it stands with me right now, I can't hear any plea for leniency towards him over the sound of the cries of the kids and school staff who died on his watch, while he stood there frozen in fear or cowardice.

And he understands.
