Listening to the post game show. Why can't either Kesling or Priest pronounce Alvin Kamara's last name correctly. It's Kamara, like Camaro only with an A at the end.

Yeah me too. They had some low scores in a few of their losses last year. Either they are improved on offense this year or ....... uh I don't want to say it.

FL seems to be throwing the ball well. They aren't playing well as a team but they're moving the ball in the air. That game may be harder for us than most thought.

That team I saw today is a 6-6 or 7-5 team. We are nowhere near a top 25 team. Our DL clogged the middle most of the day but could never really get into BG's backfield. Moseley got repeateddy used, owned, burned. Our secondary had absolutely no answer whatsoever for their passing game.

OK will be favored by 3 TDs and rightly so. The team I watched today cannot beat OK, AL, GA, FL, MO...not a chance. The team that stomped on Iowa in the bowl game can.

Hope we can find that team soon because this one's defense absolutely sucks...at least today it did.

Willie Martinez is more than just position coach. Before game on radio they were talking about he is eyes in the skybox for Jancek.

I've thought they are a 7 and 5 team for a while,there are some unrealistic expectation being placed on this team by the fans

6 or 7 wins was what I was thinking,I think that 8 wins would be exceptional myself,of course there is a bunch of football to be played and the Mighty Vols will have there chances to surprise me :)

Great game Vols. Secondary obviously struggled in the beginning. But overall good first game. Looking forward to a great season.

Interestingly, Oklahoma in the 3rd has 22 rushing yards on 18 attempts against Akron. :unsure:

Glad the o-line played well. Every year I think/say, if we could just run the ball, we could be good. I think we can do that this year. Kamara is fast. I was pessimistic about him but I think he is the real deal.

I hope our defensive front shows up next week and hope our secondary got it out of their system. we could use Justin Martin stepping up hope he is 100% next week.

Go Vols!
