The zone wasnt dumb, Spillman didn't lock in on his keys. He didn't get an underneath route in his window so he is supposed to get depth to the next windo which takes away that throw. The call was fine the execution was poor

I thought it did. Qb was pressed on virtually every play. Outside of the PI call moving the ball down the field it was alright. A 4th down conversion sucks to see, but overall wasn’t terrible.

We have the most annoying fan base in the country. It’s absurd to be upset every time we rush four and play zone.

We rushed four and played zone on the Carter sack earlier. There’s no defense in the country that only plays man

Play calling hasn't been bad, players are just getting beat and not playing well. Defense just looks slow at making plays. Every play, we got someone in the area, they are just too slow to make the play.

Hopefully it is just first game jitters. People talk about offense but defense has issues trying to gel as well in early games.

That timing on the LB blitz was on the 4th was bad. Easy to pick up and left us exposed in the middle.
