Pig has run for about 75 yards.....per YEAR in his career at Tennessee. 60-70 yards in tomorrow's game is probably a little high IMHO.

I may be wrong , but I see him breaking two or three around the end off the read option for 20 yards. I could be dead wrong, but I feel it will happen

It' late and I can't sleep. So I decided to look into this Baker Mayfield kid, who as I'm sure we have all heard by now, is a former Texas Tech walk-on who started their opening game and got injured mid-way through the season.

So how good was he while as Texas Tech?

His game by game break-down is as follows:
SMU: 43/60, 413 yds passing, 4 pass TD, 76.2 QBR, 16 yds rushing on 12 carries with 1 rush TD

SF Austin: 21/30, 367 yds passing, 3 pass TD, 94.8 QBR, 66 yd rushing on 9 carries

TCU: 21/40, 216 yds passing, 1 pass TD, 3 INT, 9.9 QBR, 10 yds rushing on 12 carries

Texas St: 14/20, 124 yds passing, 1 INT, 5.7 QBR, 4 yds rushing on 6 carries

Kansas: 33/51, 368 yds passing, 1 INT, 79.9 QBR, 23 yds rushing on 6 carries with 1 rush TD

Injured for the following games: Iowa St, WVU, Oklahoma, Oklahoma St

Kansas St: 34/44, 276 yds passing, 2 INT, 55.3 QBR, 29 yds rushing on 13 carries with 1 rush TD

Baylor: 28/51, 314 yds passing, 4 pass TD, 1 INT, 49.6 QBR, 39 yds rushing on 14 carries

Texas: 24/44, 237 yds passing, 1 INT, 17.4 QBR, 3 yds on 16 carries

Did not play in bowl game against Arizona State

2013 Final Stats:
218/340, 2315 yds passing, 12 pass TD, 9 INT, Sacked 24 times, 56.8 QBR

Last week against Akron he put up:
23/33, 388 yds passing, 3 pass TD, 61.5 QBR, 8 yds rushing on 6 carries with 1 rush TD

Interpret the stats as you want, but I for one am not convinced that he was the phenomenal walk on that the media has described him as. When the time came to play the big games he folded and turned the ball over a ton.
(Also it may be appropriate for someone to put this as a new thread, I don’t have enough posts yet thanks)

Butch is prepared for everything. He had the team practice during fall camp for what to do in case of a 30 minute, 60 minute, and 90 minute lightining delay. And guess what happened game 1? A 90 minute delay.

Butch has the boys prepared. You can take that to the bank.
