Funny moment of the game.

Crowd chanting "sec sec sec" then florida score announced "Michigan 17 Florida 7" and the crowd stops chanting and cheers! Loved it.

I would like to thank the VN poster(s) the other day who kept calling NW Pandy and purple vanderbilt. I could not get that out of my brain while we were absolutely destroying that pathetic bunch of purple flower picking pansies. Made me laugh.

All I can say is what a game Vols. Best overall played game of the season. Never thought we would have blown out a tough Northwestern team. I knew we could win but not like that.

We should get a pretty good jump in the final polls for the season. I'm going to say we jump to at least #18 but probably as high as #16 with that kind of buttwhooping performance. I would say we get to #15 but most 4 loss teams don't finish that high unless they were already in the top 20 & then get a bowl win.

I think a #16 ranking would be solid especially after a slow start to this season. Butch did a really nice job with this team by keeping them together after such a disappointing start with the losses & injuries.

2016 here we come nation! I think we start out next season top 15 ranking & favorite again to win the SEC East. We need to certainly improve in certain areas but we have all the makings of a special team & season next year guys. Can't wait to see what the 2016 team brings to Knoxville. GO VOLS! :)

Northwestern fans were not real visible until the game started. They had fair representation at the game, but there is no doubt that we were in Tampa, Tennessee for this game. Love the VOLS, love the effort by our guys. I am a really happy camper.


Oh, and the gators got pummeled. The world is right again.

I can't help it - every time ESPN scrolls the lead at the bottom of the screen and I see "Tennessee trounces Northwestern" I smile.

I regard it as a good omen for the year 2016 and Big Orange Vols Football.

If the numbers increase continues of last 2 seasons Vols could be 10-2 for their regular season record.

Its great to be a Tennesse vol no doubt shown in 2016.
The time is great for Vols to win the SEC East. I wiuldnt be shocked if they won the SEC championship game, and very possibly make it to the Playoffs.

I'm amazed with how the Vols smashed a 10 win NW wildcats. 2nd half was a amazing half. Also I'm amazed my VL likes rose from 569 in this thread to 586.
Now it'll be even greater when the basketball Vols win tommorow vs the Auburn Tigers.
