Butch is just worried about a mistake by a young QB in the Swamp. I get it (kind of 🙄) but prepare for a safe, vanilla offense since he isn't throwing it well. Not much you can call if he can't make throws. I think it's time to put JG in if we don't get going next drive.

It's crazy. I havent been on VN the whole time. I'm thinking "We got this. 6-3 at half. Defense is stopping the run, and all we need to do is execute like we can, and that's a couple of TDs." I come to VN and the first posts I read are doom and gloom and how bad we are. Typical.

If the game stays close and Guarantano comes in and throws a pick six, people will say Dormady should have stayed in because he was keeping it close.

If Dormady stays in and doesn't get it done, then Guarantano should have been in the game.

We need to win the game. Then everything else is moot.

UT's defense is total garbage. This is nothing but a reflection on how crappy Florida's offense is. However, as bad as Florida's offense is, it is still good enough to beat us.

Thankfully, this loss will be the start of the path to a new head coach. Butch Jones sucks. It's time to end this experiment and move on.

What a great "old school", punch you in the mouth football game. The first team to blink loses. Wow. We get the ball after the half and we need to drive down the field and get some points.

Here's the skinny on this QB thing. Dormady looks unsure and a little skittish. Against a D like Florida, that isn't going to work. I would at least give Guarantano a series or two to see what happens. He seems like a kid who is just cocky enough to make some plays. Somebody needs to take command of this offense.

Our defense has played great IMO. Much better tackling this game than I have seen the first 2.

Really? On one of his incompletions, he got hit from behind right as he was throwing. On two others, he hit receivers right in the hands but they failed to come down with possession. On two other plays, there were P.I's called. He did complete 4 others and had the best QB run of the day. So, yeah, the first and only college game for this freshman QB was not quite as bad as some bean-counters would like to claim.
