Plenty. They haven’t really used their bullpen that much because Wood was heroic and they’ve worked Root and Gaeckle into the ground. They’ll be fine tomorrow. I assume Kade Anderson will go on short rest for LSU.

You don’t get to keep challenges and it was potentially the winning rum in the 8th inning. nothing to lose there.

Yeah there is, you have 2 more innings worth of AB’s and an inning of defense that could lead to a closer play. That challenge was completely un-winnable. Now you get a bang bang play and you’re at the mercy of the call on the field.

When we went to the LSU game at LNS last year, we sat in front of the LSU fans and there was an obnoxious old dude that my kids nicknamed “Cajun Grandpa” who was leading cheers. Pretty sure we just saw ole Cajun Grandpa on TV.
