I’d be hot if I was the UCLA catcher. He was the one who got caught on the bogus strike 3. He seems to be a pretty good framer behind the plate and it not getting the corner thus far. I’d be chirping.

He got out of that inning with the help of good defense including a heck of a DP, but I don’t see him lasting much longer. I’ll be surprised if he makes it another inning, Arky hitters will knock him out soon I bet.

Well, I was wrong. Delvecchio is hanging in there much better than I thought. I’m still afraid of what is going to happen if they leave him in much longer. Hopefully I’m wrong about that also.

I’m just curious, why the harsh disdain for Head? I’m not at all familiar with him, is he just a terrible ump, unfair in his calls, or what? I’m assuming he is the ump at first, right?
