I am planning to log-off work early today around 1 and park my self in front of the TV and ESPN Squeeze Play for as long as the wife will allow me to do so. Regionals is one of the most underrated sports weekends.

Who are we pulling for today? Wake or Cincy? I know Cincinnati plays like Kentucky, so I'd prefer not to play them with Phillips pitching, but I'm wondering if that's being overstated a bit. I'm torn.

Phillips is going to have his handful tomorrow night. Really wish we would save Doyle but I know Tony is going to stick to his regular rotation for better or worse until the day before retires. It’s worked so far, but man this Cincy offense is frightening.

Yeah, both starters are welcome to be pulled in the fourth inning and let the bullpens get run through. I wouldn't hate that, at all.

Nothing tops the 1st 2 days of the NCAA basketball tournament IMO, but day 1 of baseball regionals carries a lot of magic.
