Since it's cut day, this is my official compliant about roster sizes

How come we can't have

70 Total players
53 active roster players
17 practice squad players (instead of 15)
48 active players on gameday (instead of 46)
+2 practice squad players
So 50 total active for game days

Who would object to this

Somebody (Sando?) recently said, paraphrasing, "The best QB is the guy who can get it done when the D knows it's a passing down, and despite his other stats the last 2 years, Mahomes is still the best on 3rd and long."

Owners want to keep cost down, and I suppose it helps with parity, right?

$47 million a year . Good luck with that future Salary Cap Green Bay...

They really don't have anyone else they need to pay big money too though. They have a lot of good, not great players. Xavier McKinney won't be factor for payroll for another couple of years. Maybe you could argue Rashan Gary, but he's definitely replaceable.

My initial reaction was, “You can’t build a Championship Roster with 75% replacement players!”, when that is exactly what perennial contenders do. Cull FA and waiver wires for kindred spirits. I remember thinking how crazy Bill Belichick seemed at times. Crazy like a fox. 🦊

When I say replaceable, I mean he isn't a franchise player. He's very solid, but he's not someone you build a franchise around.
