The Official 2025 NFL Draft Thread

I guess people are leery of Sampson’s height. The guy is known to be a great locker room leader, set records and was the leading SEC rusher. Head scratcher that some of these backs are going ahead of him.
Ball security issues (allows defenders to rip the ball out of his hands).
Needs to work on improving pass protection.
Shown uncertainty when sifting through blitzes in protection.
Better vision on the inside zone than as an outside runner.
Used infrequently as a pass catcher (meaning concern he has difficulty as a pass catcher, which most NFL teams also need a RB to be able to do).
Below average size for the NFL for the workload asked of him.

^Those were the weakness notes from some of the NFL scouting.

NFL Radio was discussing it.
They’re discussing the possibility of it, but it’s along the same lines as the message board idea of “he’s telling teams not to draft him because he’s hoping to fight the NCAA and get another year playing in college.”

If he were doing that, teams would have very much started to say something publicly.

No player’s going to do that though. It’d make their situation with NFL teams even worse.

Well, here we are on a message board. And there they are discussing it. Not sure what to tell you.

His measurables weren’t exactly off the charts either.

At this point Sanders is going to walk into his team's locker room and some veterans are going to roast him.
"Somebody feel a draft in here?"
"Yeah, but it's not a very strong one......"
