It's not the criteria for anyone with a brain. Just because superstars (the real ones) will show up on a list like this doesn't make it criteria worthy.

After all, this is measuring value within the regular season.

There's a reason that Curry rarely guards the opposing PG. He's a horrible defender. Horrid.

Guess who picks up that slack every single night? Klay Thompson.

Curry can shoot the lights out. Guess who else can shoot the lights out? Klay Thompson.

One is rail thin and will never be more than a 3-point bomber who has a few crafty moves in the paint. The other has the athletic ability and frame to develop a serious post game.

You guys get sold on that superstar **** by ESPN and you eat it up.

His offense is limited to being a 3 point shooter and garbage buckets. Put him on a good team and he's probably the third option on offense.

He isn't elite at anything but rebounding.

He has a pretty good post game and mid range game too.

No. It's the truth. He's Reggie Evans with a 3 point shot. He can't lead a team to a title. He can't even lead them to the playoffs. Not even once.

He's not a superstar. To undersell him, you would have to say he's just an average rebounder.

Shhhh... no he doesn't just scores on 3 pointers and offensive put backs. Anyone who doubts Kevin Love's all around offensive ability would be the same person that would take Thompson over Curry... oh wait.

Every raw stat and every advanced statistic tells you that Curry is better. And every set of eyes outside of yours realizes the same thing when they watch the Warriors. I thought you were at least going to pick Iggy when you said that Curry wasn't the best player.

Jesus. Do those raw stats show how awful Curry is a defense? So awful that he isn't even allowed to guard the opposing PG no matter how much he begs for it?

Dude can shoot. He's fun to watch. I like him. Honestly.

But if I'm building a team and I actually want to win something, I'm taking Klay and I don't even have to give it much thought.
