The *Official* 2014 NBA Draft Thread

It's really fun to root for players. People should try it more.

You can root for other players while being loyal to your favorite team. I don't care about the bandwagon stuff, I just like giving Ben crap about it.

Personally I've been a Niners since I was 8 or so, the Sonics/Thunder since I was 12 or 13, and The Giants since Will Clark was there. At this point it's just in my blood to follow those teams, when they are winning and when they are losing. Baseball a lot less now, because I hate baseball.

When I was little i was all about the Cowboys and Bulls.....**** that ****.

Well yeah. I have other favorite players too, but the Jazz are my team and I will root for them over any player. But I really like to see Tyson Chandler play, Love, etc. It's not just Lebron.

I'm just a fan of the game, really. There is too much to appreciate. I don't see why fans tend to hate some much.

I'm the same way. Reggie is my second favorite player ever, huge Lillard fan, I'm a basketball junky and watch all I can. But I'll always be a Thunder fan first. Now if Seattle gets a team, I'm going to have a dilemma.

What if Seattle got a team but the Thunder changes their name to the Sonics?

All my family has been Cowboys fans since the 1960s (they're from New Mexico and that's the regional team) and I got so much **** for being a Cowboys fan in east TN when they won the 3 SBs that I stopped liking them. It was easy to slip away during their down years. My wife is from Dallas so now I semi-follow them.

I was a laker fan as I kid then became a melo fan when he joined the league. went from a nuggets to a Knicks fan. Now I'm a Knicks fan with or with out melo. I love the arena, the major city market ,and the money they have .

Pick a new guy. Doesn't have to be the best player in the world either. I was a Ben Wallace fan before Lebron, when he went to Cleveland i started following Lebron. After Lebron it might be Faried or Aldridge, idk.

Westbrook! Lol I mean I kind of get it, I followed GP pretty closely everywhere.

Clark had such a pretty swing. Mitchell was awesome for a very limited time. Williams was really good but supposedly a huge douche. Lol

Matt Williams is the Nationals manager now.

Speaking of Seattle and pretty swings....Ken Griffey Jr may be my favorite athlete ever.
