We beat the #25 team in a defensive slugfest.

Beat Bruce Pearl.

Played outstanding defense and didn’t let the bad shooting effect our defensive energy. We rebounded well.

It was not an exciting game to watch though. That’s for sure. Looked like a Cuonzo game.

you nailed it. Fans will complain bc good defensive teams aren’t fun to watch. If this was a 92-90 shootout that we won, fans would be praising the outcome. It isn’t always pretty but even on our worst shooting nights we’re going to be in games.

IMO, he was shooting a 3 while moving causing his legs to be out to help square his shoulders to the basket. ON ran up onto him causing his legs to look “wrapped” around him and ON definitely didn’t give him room to land.

They were still awful, it just benefitted us that time. They missed a bunch of fouls on Auburn when Vescovi turned it over. They missed that one on us.

Sports across the board needs to be taking a hard look at who they are putting out there to officiate these games. It's just putrid.

Kind of like that KC-Cincy game parallels this game. Officating was awful that entire game but they did get the one call right at the end.
