We have to be able to run at will on offense or we are ineffective. We have to be in the QB's face every play on defense or we are ineffective.

And our DBs are trash or poorly coached.

Like so many of us have feared…this season we just don’t have a qb that can do anything special. Our guy overthrew a deep wr then ram out of bounds short on a free player.
Their guy threw a much deep touch pass then used his athleticism to dive for the pylon. That’s just how it’s going to be this year. Heupel made his bed…and isn’t going to change.

This is why coach talks about Joe Milton, needing improvement in situational football. But if he is a sixth year senior, that is not going to improve.

Joe Milton is a very good athlete, but he lacks the two most important areas a quarterback needs; accuracy and awareness.

When you play NCAA football video games awareness for a quarterback, doesn’t really mean a whole lot, because you control the player and you can see the screen. But in real football, you have to trust the quarterback to do that and this is where Joe Milton fails.
