We made him work, which is nice, but only getting 1 out of that is the exact issue we’ve had all year that has kept us from winning a lot more games.
We did and your right just not getting enough timely hitting. Pitch recovered nicely though made great pitches. In CHRIST Alone

Terrible at bats to end the inning. They have to start capitalizing on situations like that. Sometimes they are too aggressive when they shouldn't be and other times watch strike 3 go right down Broadway.

copy of note from elsewhere

thanks for asking
we have been consumed by the events since 230 yesterday, when our son called after he and our granddaughter emerged from their basement to say they were OK.

Twister touched down close to their home in the Clayton-Richmond Heights area and literally moved along the path towad Merramec Elem, where grandsons are in 1st and 2nd grade, Boys were in school basement when twister cut thru property near the school. and they were kept inside over concerns about gas leaks and downed power lines,.

Bottom line all are OK, and all 3 grandkids are with mom and dad at tennis lessons I didnt know unti flhis morning how lucky they were to escape this tragedy

More later, TV coverage online has been excellent, but with too many heartbreaking stories. There was even footage along the street where boys would have to walk on days that their parents couldnt pick them up
Thank you for letting us share in your family's gratitude. Enjoy some nice, fresh, normal today!

I'm sharing this below simply as a resource that I've found very helpful, not just for my own safety but especially for my mom's peace of mind, as 5 years ago she survived a direct hit and is, of course, quite anxious when severe weather alerts are issued.

If you click the link and forward to 01:02:00 you can follow his live prediction and coverage of the tornado that ArdentVol was talking about, and see what I mean. It's a good example of the service he provides.

He usually stays with the weather for up to 15 hours as it crosses the country, giving extremely local and updated information, often 30-120 seconds ahead of the National Weather Service. When there's a tornado on the ground, he tells you specific local landmarks that are in its path minutes away, like churches, businesses or schools. You literally know live if your block, your neighborhood, your Dollar General store, is in the path.

I'm just posting this as one of (I assume) several similar resources, especially since the next three days will be active and destructive in the southern plains where we have VFLs who might be on this thread today.
