I don't know why so many want this team to play in a regional at home. They play better on the road. They are so tight at LNS. Loved this win!!!

The short answer is…a large portion of season ticket holders bought season tickets for the right to get dibs on Regional/Supers tix. They may or may not wanna travel, for instance to WVA.

Secondly, and typically, home field advantage is a thing. As you point out, maybe that’s not as big of a deal this season.

My own personal belief, just me…today is the result of a team/staff, having their backs against the wall. They know full well what the comparisons are, warranted or not. We’re okay.

They have been calling the high strike all night. Consistent by that umpire.

Watching replay, and thru 4 they have been giving us some of the river on inside strikes and them all of the river, especially high. Check swing calls a bit iffy, announcers called them out in a couple.
