Absolutely. College is madness every Saturday (sometimes Friday). Crazy games yesterday. Need to in & play 60 minutes.

Defense….communicate, line up correctly and get after the QB. Need Josephs and Herring to dominate on the edge.

Great teams win on the road. This group has played hard and it would’ve been really easy after Joey threw the 2nd pick against UGA to roll over.

I hope if we have a lead and our defense is running around confused and unable to lineup with a 4th down potential game defining stop and then the subsequent game tying 2pt conversion we take an F’ing timeout. I’m sick of us taking Timeouts home with us after snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

This will be a close game:

1. Unless you are a complete team and way more talented than the other team in all three phases . . . There are rarely easy road wins in the SEC. We are very good on offense and probably average on defense and special teams.
2. We are more talented . . . But the gap is not so big that turnovers and penalties (which road teams often struggle with) won’t close it.
3. A pretty “clean” game by both teams = Vols win by 10 plus.
4. If they have a penalty ridden / turnover game, Vols win by 20 plus.
5. If we have a lot of penalties / turnovers / we lose by 7 or more.

I don’t drink. That could be what causes some to think we’re gonna breeze through this one. I just try to bring some balance to expectations. I hope your feeling about what’s going to happen is more correct than mine and I’ll be right here celebrating that.
