The Official #15 Tennessee vs. #6 Georgia Game Thread, 3:30 ET, ABC

Vandy might be our toughest opponent left.
I would consider AL & FL on the road plus a home game against OK as tough games. Easily could lose one of those.

AL D is beginning to play much more aggressive
FL @ the swamp has just been a house of horrors for TN so would not under estimate no matter FL's W/L record
OK is kind of an unknown as they really have not played a strong team yet

Just when you’re inside 15-25 seconds, run the ball toward the middle each time if that’s where you’re trying to kick it from.

Don’t run it to the left hashmark for two straight plays and then try to run a third to get it back in the middle with like 5 seconds left in the game.
Agree

GA literally has top 5 talent.
Even with a wash in coaching talent GA wins, and Kirby is as good a coach.
TN had no business even being in the game, yet there we were. But for Max missing on a chance he nailed minutes later - bless the young man, that's a tough one - the team does something they shouldn't.

Nobody likes the loss, but this team did more than they should have.
Year 5....no excuses. It's Heupel's team from top to bottom. Ever a year to end the streak it was this year at home against a first time average QB. Heupel went in a Butch Jones shell...Smart didn't and he won.

He played it smart. The loss of 5 put them behind the chains. He ran the ball next, which let everyone know he was settling for the FG. Gilbert should have made the kick. He didn’t and it ended up going to OT. I didn’t agree with taking the ball first. I thought that was odd. The. They didn’t execute. UGA got away with a huge run and were just too close to stop. It was over at that point. Players have to make plays. They didn’t make enough. On to next week.
I don’t think we had a choice. I think Georgia won the toss and elected to play D first.

The recruiting rankings angle always make me laugh. We were the better team. Hit the FG, no overtime where anything can happen. Actually luck happens in overtime.

Thinking about it, we took UGA to the wire and minus some bonehead situations could have won it.. Getting healthy, this could be a fun year.

The meaning of my comment was not that we have a soft schedule, it was to mean Vandy is damn good. Anyone who hasn’t watched them play is in for a surprise.

Don't get pissed but there was some very werid play calling on JH and Banks defense set up. If we lose to Bama and UF on the road again (like previous years)
do you think JH will start getting some heat?
