The Official #15 Tennessee vs. #6 Georgia Game Thread, 3:30 ET, ABC

Heupel absolutely didn't coach scared. He made the right call. Going for three was the higher percentage play. UGA had to play perfectly to win, and they did. It's going to make our victory against them in the CFB feel even better.
Funny how that coaching standard often gets you beat.

Worst play call I’ve seen in 30 years of watching Tennessee football. By far the worst play call I’ve seen in Heupel’s career. This loss is squarely on him. The win would’ve been because of him, but he lost the game with an objectively stupid play call.
You must have slept through Dooley, Pruitt, and Butch.

5-yd penalty for a 42-yd FG when you're ramping for a 37?

It janked him. Simple as that.

Was expecting one thing, was handed another, missed

It happens

Kirby interview at the end said it all to me...he pretty much said we didn't win this as much as they won it for us.

Heupel made some bad decisions, Offense didn't execute a couple of drives, Defense gets a waiver due to all the injuries.

One of those three things goes the other way and this is a win.

Georgia took care of business, but didn't win by as much as the wager lines predicited.

Lol, at the folks saying Heupel lost the game because of a motion penalty. The kicker missed a FG that was essentially the same one he made in overtime. He cracked in the biggest moment.

This was the Jeff Hall Florida game moment.

He kicked the ball on 3rd down. Who knows, you could have popped one for 6 yards and kicked on 4th.
