Worst play call I’ve seen in 30 years of watching Tennessee football. By far the worst play call I’ve seen in Heupel’s career. This loss is squarely on him. The win would’ve been because of him, but he lost the game with an objectively stupid play call.

Agreed, it's not directly hating on Gilbert, I feel you there, however the coaches had this team in the winning position, just make the FG and the ballgame is over.

Over 40 with an average college kicker is not a sure thing. It was stupid to burn clock and not try to get it inside the 20.

You can’t false start out of a timeout in that situation. How does that happen with a top paid staff?

Heupel absolutely didn't coach scared. He made the right call. Going for three was the higher percentage play. UGA had to play perfectly to win, and they did. It's going to make our victory against them in the CFB feel even better.

This is the first time I really think we were outcoached against them. The past losses were mostly due to the overall talent difference.

We closed the gap enough in talent and crapped the bed when we had the chance to finish them. That today wasn't great coaching by Kirby, but scared coaching by Heupel at critical times
