Honestly, them running it to the left side the play beforehand rather than the middle might have done just as much if not more damage. I think the 3rd down play (that the false start was on) was a sign that they didn't like where they had placed the ball and wanted to move it back towards the middle.

...which honestly means they should have probably been running it toward the middle from the get go.
