The Official #15 Tennessee vs. #6 Georgia Game Thread, 3:30 ET, ABC

Defense has to get off the field. They are going to get exhausted especially considering the injuries we are dealing with. Since the 3:30 minute mark in the 1st Quarter Georgia has run 34 plays to our 13.

We have GOT to stop them on this first drive..... get the ball and Methodically move the ball downfield to st least get three. Ive always been amazed at how we Score at Will then Suddenly look like we are in a Closet with No lighting

Unfortunately refs gonna call us if it looks remotely close to a penalty, UGA gets a pass 9 out of 10 calls.

Call on Hood was fair but the earlier call on Farooq was BS. That was a bang/bang play and he closed on the ball perfectly. Sucks because it basically handed Georgia 3 points. They would’ve had to punt otherwise.

He’s been picked on and burnt all game. Church it up as an “interception” if you’d like. He caught a hailmary that you likely could’ve caught as well.
You call your kids garbage when they don't play well? Don't know what church it up means. I'll ask around tomorrow. Be better.

Since our d coord has been on campus u mean. He just cannot adjust....or refuses to. For years
I honestly- given what was also done at UCF - think it might be this way by design. It kind of seems/feels like it’s one of those like 2010s Chip-Kelly-at-Oregon or spread offense Big 12 or Mike Leech offense or 2013 Missouri style corresponding defensive setups…

Like the whole overall scheme is an offense that scores most every drive and scores quickly, with a bend don’t break defense that pressures and forces a punt once or twice, Then suddenly it’s a 3-4 score deficit and the other team is panicking and having to force passes to try to score quickly to try to quickly cut the deficit, allowing the defense to pressure and/or suddenly force a turnover or two that the offense turns into a larger deficit.

Like, it wants 45-20 style scoring games and to get there in a hurry, but the really, really talented SEC schools like UGA or teams like OSU aren’t going to give you those kinds of games…they’re going to after the first flurry and efficiently shut down offenses designed around quick scoring and force your team to beat them with your bend-don’t-break defense (schemed mostly around getting pressure and another turnover or two to widen the game) having to step up play to make up for your offense getting stifled.
