UGA fans in Atlanta are feeling confident about this game. They don’t believe Tennessee will score 20 points.

I think we have the best offensive coach in the country who can out-scheme the best coaches. This year I’m seeing more creative and complex route schemes from Heupel.

This game comes down to Tennessee’s ability to stop the run or not. I know we have not scored a passing TD on UGA in a few years, but I think we change that story on Saturday.

Agree. Run the ball, stop the run, win the turnover battle, and get off the field on 3rd downs - do those things and we win the game.

Oh, and please avoid those drive killing penalties.

If we win today, this changes everything. In the last few years, we had the Tier 0 teams of UGA, Bama, Ohio. Tier 1 teams were LSU, Clemson, Michigan, Oregon, Washington, Notre Dame, Texas. Tennessee wasn't considered Tier 1. Most "experts" put us in Tier 2, even in good years like 2022 and 2024. If we win today, we are back to being a full time Tier 1 team. UGA, Bama, Ole Miss, Oregon all lost their QB, but they weren't ranked #24. Thats a lack of respect for the Vols. This isn't 2017 anymore.

One really interesting thing about this game is UGa's schedule. If UT can pull this one out today, Georgia has Alabama at home in two weeks after a bye week. We can open up the SEC race in a huge way with a win today.

We play Bama three weeks after they play UGA.

I work at Texas Roadhouse so most likely I’ll be able to see portions of the Georgia Tennessee game on TVs in the Bar area.

The real threat of the long pass will keep Kirby from jamming the box like he has done the last 2 seasons. That should be enough to open the run game enough to keep the defense on its heels and guessing.
