A second year head coach who really wanted a signature SEC win against a ranked visiting team coached by someone with whom he’s very familiar. In his eyes, Tennessee’s defense made the plays for the two scores, but in doing so, his players failed to make the plays to thwart them. So, from his point of view, his team “gave” Tennessee two touchdowns. It’s not hard to wrap your head around that, especially speaking to the media directly after the loss.

Edit: I doubt that Lebby went into the locker room after the game and chastised his QB and the blockers who were beaten by Tennessee’s pass rush.
