The Official #15/#15 TENNESSEE (3-1) vs Mississippi State (4-0) Thread - Zone Edition - Davis Wade Stadium - Starkville - September 27 @ 4:15 EST

Y’all remember when B*** missed a chance to play for the national championship and folded like a cheap lawn chair to Utah in their bowl game? Don’t you want that for them again?

"Saturday wasn’t the coaching staff’s finest day. Tennessee, though, found a way to win in a challenging environment. And ultimately, that’s all that matters. But there are some lessons to be learned in the way the clock was managed in the final moments of regulation."

Unless I missed something I thought they were just running clock out so Miss State didn't have time to try to win. Seemed logical to me because of how our offense was playing

You have to give yourself time to run some plays and not run the clock out hoping for a 40 yard pass play especially when you have time outs in your pocket.
