The Official #14 Tennessee vs. #19 Florida Game Thread, 3:30 pm ET, CBS

Pulling Martin and replacing him with gaulden is one of the main reasons we won.

That took some cohones and may be what brings this team together. That is called great coaching. Martin will come back and play, and hope he plays well, but COACH just sent a message.

Gators giving bulletin board was the most unsmart move, and a colossal worst case result.

Vols hang 35 on the Gators steep d in the 2nd half to win no sweat.
Applebee showing why he only has 2 wins as he looked abysmal in the 2nd half.

Vols make a statement scorching the Gators in the 2nd half.

Good QBs get in a rhythm at this point of the game and hit passes. They don't drop snaps and then display a complete lack of touch on a 3rd down pass

OK Coach. He only completed 9 for 12 for almost 300 yards IN ONE HALF. He also rushed for over 40 yards. But you keep crawling his azz for dropping one snap.

This was like the waterboy the Gators look amazing for 1 half then the 2nd half the vols are marvelous.

A impressive way to end the streak and I imagine gators won't be giving other teams bulletin board material this season after this fiasco.

I like how people say the posters questioning the odvious concerns over the recent play stretching across the BJ era are nega, or not true fans. The fact I'm concerned shows how much I care. I think it's foolish to turn a blind eye. ALSO just because we haven't been happy doesn't mean we don't want these coaches, and MOST IMPORTANTLY these players to succeed.

Very very very happy with this win! They played like a totally different team in the second half. And I know anyone here will take it of course. I'm hopeful they will open their eyes and see that these athletes can produce and show up to every game like they did the second half. But also to act like BJ is the savior of all after this game is a tad premature. Despite hiccups this was most certainly a step in the right direction. I want to see more consistant play across the board. Mostly with the flow of the game coming from play calls. No team will survive going down that much in a game, especially against decent talent(which Florida is). What will indicate true change to me is that killer instinct style coaching you see out of elite coaches. Also I was to see how the game plan goes when up at minimum 10 points on a top ranked team. Those have been our biggest obstacles in recent years. We have a knack for coming back and at least putting up a fight when down, because it forces aggressive play calling.

By no means am I trying to be negative. Proud of the players(as always), and proud of the coaches for their response. But in talking about growth, let's keep it moving forward. Enjoy this very important victory, y'all earned it!

Go VOLS

I am one happy dude! GO VOLS!

Damn happy
1 of the greatest wins I ever seen in Vols football history. 1 of the greatest wins ever for any of my teams as this was against a team a tough d and damn how amazing the Vols adjusted for a marvelous 2nd half.

Dobbs was a Superstar in the 2nd half the entire vols team was. It's like Michael Jordan gave a halftime speech.
