Should have last year also. Especially after showing we had the skill to come out swinging, then closing the play book for the next 3 quarters. Florida couldn't stop us, but they relied on our defense to carry the game the rest of the way. Defense win games, but not when they never get a break. Fast passed offense, and 3 and outs are good for your defense.

I'd be surprised to see the numbers on how many downs our defense has played vs offense in the Butch era, or time on field.

Yeah, I hate to say it...and a tip of the hat to sjt (and others) who called it from Day 1, but...

I think I'm over the whole "Butch thing". He's a good recruiter, but he is simply in way over his head in the SEC.

No matter how this game, or this season, ends...it's safe to say that we have seen Butch's ceiling. He's not SEC, or NC, caliber.

Maybe we'll get it right next time.
